Following ten years in sales, HR and recruitment Tim was offered his dream role in estate agency, allowing him to combine his two passions: people and property. In 2017, after nearly ten years at Shields & Co Limited, Tim purchased both Shields & Co Limited and Rutland Hunt Limited, he then rebranded the companies to form Shields & Rutland. Tim prides himself on his customer service and often goes beyond what is expected of the role to ensure vendors and purchasers are well looked after. Racing around the island from house to house and spending his days meeting new people is still the highlight of his role and he is never far from his phone.

Lisa has been with Shields & Rutland since 2012 following 18 years in the finance industry. With over ten years’ experience in property management, Lisa takes everything in her stride and whenever there is an emergency, she is quick to react and will be on the phone to whoever is needed, within minutes, at whatever time of day or night. She enjoys the fast-paced environment of working with people and property and takes great pleasure in helping clients and tenants whenever she can.

Julia started her career in the property industry over 20 years ago and has been passionate about lettings and property management ever since. Julia’s experience shines through from the second you meet her, and you feel comfortable in the knowledge that you will be in safe hands. She boasts a wealth of contacts within the industry and her pleasant demeanour and friendly approach means the majority of her clients come via recommendation.

Harriet joined Shields and Rutland in 2020 after a successful work experience placement during her A-level studies where she gained exceptionally high grades in Photography, Media Studies, and Sociology. Prior to starting in this industry, Harriet honed her customer service skills working in retail for two large high street stores. Her hardworking attitude and calm approach to whatever the day presents are vital in supporting both the sales and rental teams.

Sara joined Shields & Rutland in 2010 after working in both the commercial sector and the finance industry, latterly for a small but busy investment firm. Sara’s first position within the company was as a property manager but as the block management portfolio grew, there was a need for an in-house bookkeeper and Sara found herself going back to her roots. Her role is essential to the smooth running of the rental and property management departments while she also supports Tim with overall accounting responsibilities for both companies.
